It's the last, precise grading pass that sets the ground to its finished elevations and slopes right before landscaping, concrete, or asphalt goes down. Yes, that's a big part of what we do. We excavate, bring in and compact the road base, and grade it so your driveway, pad, or slab sits on something solid and drains right. We do the dirt work and prep, and we can pour the concrete too.

We do, and there's more to it than a hole. The pit has to be deep enough in the middle that a jumper can't hit bottom, and depending on the kit it may need a shallower shelf around the outside for the legs. The dirt walls have to be held back or they slump in. The bottom needs drain rock and somewhere for the water to go, because a buried pit is a bowl. And the air under the mat needs an escape route, which is what a vented mat and the kit's venting handle, with the surround pad covering the gap at the frame. Usually, yes. A lot of drainage problems come down to grade. We'll look at how your lot sits, re grade it to move water away from the foundation, and add what it needs so it drains the right direction. If the water is coming off the roof or backing into a window well, that's our water remediation work.
